We are so excited to announce this Jordan & Israel program and to invite you to join us! This itinerary provides one of the fullest experiences available for on-site Biblical study and engaging cultural experiences at some of our favorite sites across the lands of the Bible.

On this study program we will travel the “length and breadth” of the land; from Amman to Aqaba and from Eilat to Dan. We welcome you to be part of this incredible journey with us!

This premium itinerary includes upgraded hotels and special site excursions to many of the most important sites in Israel and Jordan, together in one program. We have meticulously designed this itinerary and are so excited about how it came together. This itinerary strives to balance incredible sites, with a balanced pace of Biblical study & fun, culturally engaging experiences that enhance processing time, including (but absolutely not limited to):

• FULL DAY in Petra

• Wadi Rum Jeep Tour

• Snorkeling Excursion in the Red Sea (including all gear, and lunch!)

• Visiting a full scale recreation of the Tabernacle

• Sifting experience at a working archaeological site

• Floating in the Dead Sea

• Praying at the Western Wall and walking where Jesus walked at the Southern Steps

• Wading through Hezekiah’s Tunnel

• We visit the “Red, the Dead, and the Med” seas and top it off with a 3-night stay at Ein Gev on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.

• Exploring Jerash, a huge, well-preserved ancient Roman city in Jordan, often called the "Pompeii of the Middle East," with ruins like streets, theaters, and arches still remarkably intact.

Biblical Study Trips are distinctly different from tours, offering in-depth cultural teaching and Biblical study in small group settings at carefully selected sites throughout the lands of the Bible.

Travel the Text does not provide standard tours, but rather Biblical Study Programs that emphasize engaging the Biblical Text in its original context. Our pre-trip and on-site study will invite you into the time periods and world of the Bible as we examine how the original audiences may have understood and interacted with these texts. This program includes access to our pre-trip online “Biblical Foundations Course” that will be available to you from January 2026. This is an online Biblical study course designed to help you prepare for this trip with weekly recommended readings, introductory video teaching lessons by Geoff Carroll, and photos and visual illustrations for Biblical sites, maps, and time periods for our journey. This online course is hosted on the Teachable platform and will be made available to you about 8-10 weeks prior to your travel dates.
